Unkut Africa, the entertainment organization behind the award show is dedicated towards promoting Kenyan HipHop music, HipHop culture and recognizing those that are good in their craft . A HipHop enthusiast and a radio presenter at HomeBoyz Radio Ruby V is the founder.

Sponsored by Hennesey ,Homeboyz Kenya ,Moh Wingz ,Swap and Axis Digital ,the award show is happening for the second time and will be held at Sarit Expo Centre under the theme ‘Culture Over Fear’ , the dress code is formal.
