Kambua announced that she had lost her second born a few days after delivery. The musician has always been open about her struggles to get a chilled penned this taking on social media.
"What a privilege it has been carrying a life yet again. My little baby boy Malachi made a grand entrance into the world a few days ago. He was everything we hoped for, and more, much more. Perfect in every way. Malachi knew how much he was loved, and so he did all he could to stay with us. With the help of a most dedicated team of doctors & nurses, our little baby fought, until Jesus healed him by taking him to Himself. Malachi is now free from pain, and any worldly care."
“MALACHI KNEW HOW MUCH HE WAS LOVED, AND SO HE DID ALL HE COULD TO STAY WITH US. WITH THE HELP OF A MOST DEDICATED TEAM OF DOCTORS & NURSES, OUR LITTLE BABY FOUGHT, UNTIL JESUS HEALED HIM BY TAKING HIM TO HIMSELF.”
Kambua called both of her children a miracle that will never change even though she lost her second child. She furtherly stated that it had been a hard blow on her family, but they remain faithful regardless.

On the other hand, Kambuas co-host Karwirwa Laura of Citizen Tvs Rauka mourned with her; taking to her social media, Laura posted a tribute to baby Malachi stating this.
“THIS CANDLE BURNS TONIGHT FOR BABY MALACHI.” The gospel musician requested family, friends and fans to give her and her family time to mourn in private.
