tanzanian singer ben pol appointed ambassador for environment conservation

Tanzanian singer Benard Michael Paul Mnyang'anga,popularly known as  Ben Pol, has recently  been appointed ambassador for environment conservation by Selemani Jafo, the Minister of State in the country's Vice President's office.

The singer's  appointment comes as a recognition following his role on the conservation scene over the last few years. On his new role, Ben Pol stated his objective is to become a role model and create a sustainable future for the coming generation.

"I strongly believe that nature and humanity can thrive together and want to make this a reality for my son and for all Tanzanians. My objective is to become a role model and to work towards a bright and sustainable future for the new generation, one that is respectful of nature and the environment at large," stated Ben Pol.

Ben Pol  was first appointed ambassador for WildAid in 2015. In 2017, he participated in the World Wildlife Fund's Earth Hour. Two years later, he was appointed ambassador for Justdiggit, a grassroot organisation on a mission to cool down the planet by regreening Africa.
