Rapper Pooh Shiesty is behind bars today after he surrendered to authorities in Miami in connection to a shooting that occurred during a strip club appearance.

It is alleged that Shiesty voluntarily surrendered on Tuesday afternoon but declined to give any further comment on the incident at this time.

Pooh is currently being held without bond, but that will likely change after making the first appearance in court.

Pooh Shiesty will likely be arraigned sometime this week.

The Miami-Dade Police Department had a warrant out for Pooh's arrest stemming from a shooting over the Memorial Day weekend at King of Diamonds, a popular strip club in Northwest Miami-Dade.

According to jail records, the 21-year-old rapper was booked into Miami-Dade jail Tuesday, a little more than a week after the shooting, on an aggravated battery charge.

According to an arrest warrant obtained by the Miami Herald, Pooh Shiesty is being accused of shooting a security guard in the leg.

There were a lot of videos from the incident floating around on social media. One video allegedly showed Pooh Shiesty walking out of a show at the club with a weapon.
