Genge tone die-hards are over the moon after Ochunglo Family released a new song together months after they split up.

Taking to Instagram, the famous gengetone group announced that they would be dropping their new song dubbed Kamua Kamua on YouTube on Friday 10:00 am.

Minutes after the song was dropped, the new banger amassed 1000 views.

Fans have utterly applauded the move, urging other Gengetone artists to reunite and restore the versatility they brought to the music industry.

The Ochunglo family, consisting of D'More, Nelly the Goon, and Benzema, issued an official statement months ago saying their decision to part ways was driven by their desire to pursue their work individually.

"To all our Fans… We wanna say Thank you for the support you have given us the past few years. You have been good to us, God has been good to us & the music has been good to us. We have reached a point we have different goals & targets. So the decision of us splitting is a mutual feeling and we saw that as the best way forward. Again, Thank you so much for the support!!! We shall meet again. God bless you all🙏🙏@nellythegoon @dmore_mr_ochungulo@benzemadavid @kardozar" reads the Statement.

Following the statement, the went ahead and pulled down all their entertaining music from their YouTube channel, leaving many disappointed.

Their reunion could just be a ray of hope for Gengetone music's comeback in the industry following a diminution in the genre, barely a few years after its birth.
