Kenyan pop artist David Mathenge, popularly known to many as Nameless, has joined the country in mourning the death of business mogul Chris Kirubi. Kirubi, who was known to many as CK passed away surrounded by his family on Monday 14/6/2021.In a statement, the family wrote, 


"It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dr Christopher J. Kirubi (1941-2021), who passed away today, Monday, June 14, 2021, at 1 pm at his home after a long battle with cancer fought with fortitude, grace, and courage. He was surrounded by his family."


Taking to social media through a social media post, Nameless revealed he was to contact the tycoon to feature in their latest show, 'This Love.' which currently airs at show max.Mathenge stated,


"This is sad. Chris was a good friend to me and Wahu. We met him those days when wahu was modeling for Miss Kenya and he joked about it all the time till late last year. we had planned to call him to do an interview for our DocuReality because he was an important part of our journey. This news has shocked me. Rest well dear friend! You will forever inspire many with your life story.. 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿💔"


The late business mogul leaves behind two kids, a son and a daughter.
