The popular gospel show on NTV ‘Crossover 101’ has a new resident disc jockey named Dj Son of Nations following DJ Mo’s dismissal late last year.

Over the weekend, the Nation Media Group-run television station unveiled DJ Son of Nations as Crossover 101 co-host alongside Grace Ekirapa. The new DJ is no rookie himself since he has vast TV experience as a VDJ for KBC’s popular show Backyard. The Dj took this to his social media.

“I DON’T DWELL ON THE PAST. I FOCUS ON BUILDING AND SECURING A GREAT FUTURE. MY NAME IS SON OF NATIONS #SONOFNATIONS 🌍”

DJ Son of Nations made his debut on the rebranded Crossover show on Sunday, February 28, 2021with his first day at work with top performances from gospel stars headlining the Sunday morning TV broadcast.

The first episode of the rebranded gospel show, titled Fresh Start, was held outside Nation Media offices along Kimathi Street in Nairobi.

“MY NEW HOME,” ADDING, “THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO TUNED IN YESTERDAY @NTVKENYA FOR @NTVCROSSOVER ALONGSIDE @GRACEEKIRAPA WE WERE TRULY SUN KISSED ☀ BUT THE MUSIC SET WAS FIRE 🔥🔥🔥💥💥💥 TILL THE DJ VINYL LOST SHAPE. ALL FOR GOD’S GLORY. #FRESHSTART #CROSSOVER #NATIONSCONNECT🔌 #SONOFNATIONS🌍.”

Grace Ekirapa welcomed her new co-host noting they had previously worked together.

“I think people do not know this, but it is not the first time that I and you are working together.

Things don’t just happen; there is a reason for every season,” she said.

DJ Mo left ‘Crossover 101’ unceremoniously shortly after he was embroiled in a cheating scandal.
