Montero Lamar Hill, known as Lil Nas X was born April 9, 1999, he is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and internet personality. He rose to prominence with the release of his country rap single "Old Town Road", which first achieved viral popularity on the social media app TikTok in early 2019 before climbing music charts internationally and becoming diamond certified by November of that same year.Lil Nas x is also a business man with the release of his Satan Shoes.

Lil Nas X shoe line is a customized Nike Airmax 97. Allegedly the shoes contain one drop of human blood in each pair. The 666 pairs of shoes are of a limited edition. All the 666 shoes sold out in just one minute.

Lil Nas X collaborated with MSCHF in the making of "the Satan Shoes".

MSCHF is a company that is known for its controversial products. Before the " Satan Shoes," the company had dropped "Jesus Shoes."

The Jesus shoes had a drop of the holy water from river Jordan. The laces of the Jesus Shoe had crucifix steel attached to them, and its sole were painted vertican red.

MHCF long list of controversial products includes a bath bomb used to fill the bath up with soap, in the shape of a toaster, an internet add-on browser that hides Netflix and shows a conference call instead and a weed-smoking bong that resembles a rubber chicken.

The "Satan Shoes", according to Nike, are a modification of Nike creation; despite this, the more than 1000 dollar shoes went out of stock. The shoes' release comes just after the drop of Lil Nas x new song "Montero". Montero has more than 42 million views on youtube in only four days.

Just like the satan shoes, Montero has caused a lot of uproars. The video shows Lil Nas X seducing the devil and making the devil fall in love with him. The "Old Town Road" hitmaker has come a long way, from riding horses to riding the devil. "Old Town Road", which was Lil Nas x first song that propelled him to fame, was also a hit. "Old Town Road" has more than 500 million views on youtube. Nike added to the controversy surrounding the Satan Shoes by filing a lawsuit against MHCF and Lil Nas X for the infringement of the Nike trademark.

Many people believed that Nike has something to do with creating the shoe despite Nike releasing a statement saying it had nothing to do with the shoes.

The lawsuit argues that Nike must maintain control over its brand "by setting the record straight" about what products bear its distinctive "swoosh" logo.

The Satan Shoes are decorated with a pentagram pendant that refers to Luke 10:18, a Bible verse about Satan's fall from heaven.
