April 15, 2020The Foreign Affairs Ministry has today said that Kenyans who die abroad would be buried there as they continue to tighten security measures to fight Coronavirus. Speaking during a press briefing earlier today, foreign Affairs PS Macharia Kamau said it is sad. Still, it is not possible to bring the bodies home due to the COVID 19 situation. He also requested Kenyans to bear with the situation and bury those who die in the diaspora within 24 hours. He mentioned the situation is likely to continue for at least three to six months. He also revealed that one Kenyan is in ICU in Sweden after contracting COVID 19.
