Rajabu Abdul Kahali aka Konde Boy, is a singer, songwriter and dancer from Tanzania who goes by the stage name Harmonize.
He started his music career in 2011 and 2015, he met Diamond Platnumz and got signed at WCB Wasafi, making him the first artist to sign a recording deal with the label.
With time he released a good number of hits under the label and a-4-track EP titled Afro Bongo, which featured Diamond Platnumz, Yemi Alade, Burna Boy and Mr Eazi. His ability to make catchy-sing-along tracks quickly propelled him to popularity and even got him to Coke Studio Africa in early 2019.
He later announced he was leaving WCB Wasafi and was determined to do so at all costs. This saw him part with Tshs 500million ( Ksh 23million ). As that was not enough, he received a lot of backlash for leaving the label that had propelled him to success.
Unshaken, he established Konde Music Worldwide, his music label under which he makes music.
He has successfully continued to release music and his videos accumulating views contrary to what many people thought or expected and topped it all by releasing his debut 18-track album Afro East.
His determination to be independent and continue to make extraordinary music has put him on the world map as one of the best artists in Africa.
Currently, he is a nominee for MTV MAMAs Best Male Artist of the year alongside Burna Boy, Master KG and Rema.
The awards will be held in Kampala, Uganda 2021.
