January 12, 2021 The Kenya Film and classification board boss Ezekiel Mutua has bashed comedian Felix Odiwuor alias Jalango for an alleged glorification of antisocial behaviour through his YouTube show Bonga na Jalas.
The Kenyan celebrity has become the latest to face the wrath of Mutua after he hosted the twin brother and sister who fell in love and got married, with the show having the twins further explain themselves on how they got to that point of the relationship.
According to the Kenya Film and Communications Board boss, Jalangos move has normalized and glorified antisocial behaviour against the country's cultural beliefs.
"These so-called celebrities are looking for bizarre sensational stories to trend at the expense of our culture and morality. In the process, they are normalizing, glorifying and glamorizing antisocial behaviours that run counter to our culture. This is wrong and should not be allowed,"
Mutua wrote in his latest tirade.
He added: "KFCB will pursue all possible legal means to stop this nonsense. User-Generated Content must adhere to the law. Those using online platforms to broadcast Content to the public will be held accountable for any breach of the law."
The chiwerus have been allegedly disowned by their parents after going public with their relationship, forcing them to leave home and start a life elsewhere. Their video has sparked mixed reactions from online users with some supporting them while others are rebuking their act of incest.
