Ariana Grande's fans who are missing her live performances this year have had their dreams come true, the singer's Sweetener Tour is coming to Netflix in the form of a movie.
The talented singer spent pretty much the whole of 2019 on the road touring 'Sweetener', 'Thank U and Next' and we'll finally be able to relive her sensational shows.
She announced the news by posting a string of photos from her tour, including one of the memorable moons which sat above the stage.
"Dec 21st, a year after closing, the sweetener world tour is coming home to u."
Letting Arianators figure it out for themselves, she tagged Netflix in the snaps. "excuse me, I love you." While it could be passed off as a reference to Grande's song "R.E.M.", we now know that Netflix was hiding the title in plain sight.
Netflix confirmed the news on their account, announcing that the film would premiere on Netflix globally later this month. The information comes just a day after Netflix dropped a hint about the movie on Twitter that some eagle-eyed fans picked up on today. After Grande posted photos from her tour on Twitter and tagged Netflix.
Netflix and YouTube were reportedly in a bidding war for the Sweetener movie over the last few months, and it looks like fans won't have long to wait for it to be released on the platform.
However, Netflix now has films from the likes of Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Shawn Mendes and BLACKPINK.
