On Friday, May 21, 2021, former Kenya Sevens head coach Benjamin Ayimba had succumbed to cerebral malaria.

As mourners continued to eulogize the rugby star, information came to the fore that the man who led Kenya to a maiden main cup title in Singapore in 2016 had left behind several baby mamas and children.

Ayimba’s baby mamas during an exclusive interview, stated that the family is blocking them from taking their children to the funeral.

"We are aware Benja was a man of many women, and we accepted that. All we want is for the family to accept his children," said Nyaboke Moraa, who has two kids with the fallen sportsman.

Apart from Moraa, the other baby mamas include Sharon Kalunde, who has his son, and Fabricia Awuor, who has two; a son and a daughter.

The Ayimbas have blocked their quest to let the children see their father's last moments. "I just want my child to bury his father but they've blocked me out completely," stated Sharon.
