Leona Lewis has hit out at Michael Costello and says the designer left her "humiliated" after refusing to dress her for a charity event in 2014.

The singer, 36, shared a lengthy Instagram message on Tuesday describing how she felt body-shamed by the designer.

The Bleeding Love singer recalled how Michael's actions on that day led to her having years of mental anguish and "deep insecurities".

She defended model-turned-TV personality Chrissy Teigen for showing "sincere remorse" for her past actions.

Michael, 38, said Chrissy had blacklisted him from the industry and threatened people and brands that they'd blank them if they were in any way associated with him.

And the Project Runway star admits that her behavior led to him having suicidal thoughts.

In her emotional post, Leona revealed that she doesn't condone any type of bully behavior but wanted to share her own experiences.

The star recalled how she felt "excited" and "honored" to take part in the Go Red For Women The Heart Truth Red Dress Collection at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York in 2014 after being assigned Michael as her designer.
