KFCB Boss Ezekiel Mutua is among the many Kenyans shocked by the stunts pulled by famous Kisii musician Embarambara.
Taking to his Twitter account, Mutua suggested that the artiste's fans were the ones psyching him to proceed with his stunts, unaware of the dangers that could be staring at him.
He posted, I have a feeling that Embarambara is a danger to himself and that his fans could be cheering him on self-destruction. Is this style sustainable? Is it even sane? Unless he's superhuman, this guy will hurt himself. Someone, please stop him!'
He later added, saying, 'Artistes, please do not do weird things to please fans, unless they are paying your bills. Do not let faceless characters on social media push you to satisfy them with content if it hurts your brand. Ask yourself if 20 yrs to come, you will be happy with what you are doing now!'.
In his latest, Embarambamba was kneeling in the mud while donning a white suit.
While holding the Bible, he sang as he asked God to grant him the chance to meet President Uhuru Kenyatta.
"I pray for wisdom to get away to reach my President Uhuru Kenyatta to assist me to preach your word and lift your name high, both in kids and adults," Embarambamba sang.
The few fans who saw the video were concerned by how he chose to soil the sparkling suit, pitying whoever would wash it.
The artiste has always claimed that his wife takes care of his laundry and has never complained about her husband's behaviour.
Embarambamba once revealed his suits cost him KSh 5,000 and are designed in Nairobi by select tailors.
In a recent interview with Nation, the Gospel singer revealed that he acts the way he does in his music videos or during a performance because the Holy Spirit has filled him.
He added that people should not expect him to change because he is serving God differently.
‘Nikona nguvu nyingi ambayo imetumwa kutoka mbinguni, Mungu anatuma malaika wake wananishikilia hapo niki dance, unaona naenda kwa matope, juu ya hema, nina roll, nazunguka kama round about.
Msijali vile nacheza, ni mungu ametuma malaika wanijaze, ili nimtumikie kwa njia ya mbaramba.’
