Genge artist and rapper Mejja has decided to join the train and raise his concerns following the lockdown and curfew guidelines put in place a week ago.

The topic has since gained traction after several artists and media personalities such as Khaligraph Jones and Betty Kyallo decided to air their grievances concerning how tight the economy is for them and those of their fans.

In a recent post, Mejja wrote a message to the President petitioning the lifting of lockdown and curfew in the five counties to enable people to continue to work.

The Utawezana crooner also mentioned that most people affected by the lockdown and curfew could not provide for themselves and their families.

'Mr. President We Want To Work For Our Families Following The Guidelines But Hii KuFunga KuNa Waiters Ma Single Mum Wanaumia, Artist, Dj's, Club Owners, Watu Wa Hussle Ya Kila Siku Na Pia Sisi TuNa Familia KuNa Disconnect Between The Leaders Na Mwananchi As They Live There Lavish Lifestyle.'

He wrote Mejia's post comes a day after Khaligrapgh jones raised his concerns on the same issue.

Both artists have since called out on Kenya's government, stating that President Uhuru Kenyatta should look into struggling Kenyans' welfare.
