Young OG has once again proved that Kenya has something to say in the hip hop scene.
Thanks to Khaligraph Jones’s efforts to put the Kenyan rap scene on the global map, Kenya is somewhat becoming the hub of a new breed of rappers bound to dominate the African hip hop scene.
Young OG who is on the verge of subtly being mentioned in the same breath with Octopizzo, Katapilla, Kayvo Kforce, and others when talking about the best rappers coming from the 254 made a statement in his recent song that was produced by Motif Di Don.
He might be new in the rap game, but he is making a name for himself rather quickly. His latest release ‘Ogopa’ brings a unique flavour to the already competitive trap music in Kenya.
Releasing ‘Ogopa’ after the successful release of his ‘Sawa Baba’ record, Young OG makes a statement in the hip hop scene representing the Mombasa trap. He believes he was undoubtedly born ready to dominate the trap scene.
