King of comedy Eric Omondi has revealed details about what really happened that led to Wife material contestants coming to blows during one of the episodes.
In a recent video that Eric shared on his Instagram account, he has come forward to clarify that the brawl between the contestants was all an act.
In the video, the girls involved in the fight are seen laughing their hearts out as Eric Omondi congratulates them on the excellent acting skills.
The king of comedy accompanied this video with a caption that read, “And all of you guys actually believed these girls fought.
When you hear me say #PresidentOfEntertainmentAfrica Best Believe!!!! We are about to take over this CONTINENT!!! #WifeMaterial2 Resumes in two weeks. BIGGER!!! BETTER!!!” The video of the contestants fighting over Eric was shared on his Instagram account. It showed the ladies exchanging blows to the extent of forcing police officers and stewards who were providing security at the club to intervene.
Eric Omondi’s reveal has since elicited wild reaction from fans who argue that the fights were unnecessary, as already fans had embraced the wife material show.
Others pointed out that they already knew the show was choreographed and scripted to draw attention.
The CEO of Big Tyme Entertainment also revealed that Wife material will be back on our screens bigger and better, further stating that the show will not be rated 21+, leaving fans speculating whether the show will still air explicit content or PG content as per his agreement with KFCB boss Ezekiel Mutua.
The Season 2 of Wife Material show brought together contestants from three countries; Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.
