Pastor Ruth Matete is back on social media after taking a break close to four months and deleting her accounts. Ruth's decision to delete the accounts was triggered by the loss of her beloved husband Pastor John Apewajoye, who passed on in April following a gas explosion at their home, in Athi River.
While viewing photos on her new page, one can tell the former TPF star looks healthy, strong and beautiful. The talented singer opened up on her new YouTube channel which she said will be used to encourage and give hope to others;
"This channel exists to give hope and to encourage, through real-life experiences, backed up by the word of God Almighty. Subscribe and get ready to be blessed with my music as well. It is my prayer that the word of the Lord will come alive in your life through the content that will be shared here. Thank you for subscribing—link in bio. #BoldAndCandidWithRuthMatete”
Matete buried her husband John Apewajoye in July 2020, at the Lang' ata Cemetery after staying in the morgue for close to three months. John met his death after sustaining injuries following a gas explosion at their home in Athi River. The late pastor was trying to light the cylinder on the balcony before he caught fire.
