Karatasi is the fourth video release off his 5th studio album ‘Jungle Fever’. According to Mdundo, 'Karatasi’ is Octo’s take on the brainwashing that has happened to the human race due to the importance attached to papers.

In the opening lyrics, Octopizzo notes that before you get a job, employers request to see your papers. He then goes ahead and gives other circumstances that require papers. In his lyrics, he draws similarities between the CEO’s in the office and street children making note that both are motivated by money.

In many ways, Don draws lines of similarity also pointing out that money and the pursuit of it is a motivating factor for all across all ages, tribes, and classes. The underlying message is also to encourage the audience never to give up but rather to keep chasing that paper, to better their lives.

He posted on social media;

“BRAND NEW KARATA$I OUT NOW https://youtu.be/1bIDWG17CEA Be motivated to chase some sort of paper today and always. Watch On YouTube via https://youtu.be/1bIDWG17CEA#Karatasi #DON”

‘Karatasi’ is directed by Daniel Bjarnason and was shot in an offsite paper mill, and captured the drip king flexing in a suit; typical for the star known for his fashion-forward looks. Check it out below
