With Monica season three finally streaming on show Max, no other being is as excited as the cast who have been waiting for two years for its new season.
Monica, which has been created and produced by Scooll Cheruto and directed by Neil Schell follows Brenda Wairimu known as Monica the lead actor, a girl from the ghetto who schemes her way to the top threatening friendships, her love life and family bonds in the process
The series stars veteran actor Raymond Ofula (Queen Sono, The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind), Fidel Maithya (Selina, A Beautiful Disaster), Ephy Saint (Tahidi High), Joyce Maina (Aisha, Neophobia), Sam Komora (Aziza), Rosemary Waweru (Tabasamu, Pray and Prey), and Kauthar Kang'ethe (Midlife Crisis, Machachari).
Monica struggles to fight for her place around the high and mighty in the new season, and everyone is more than waiting to see what happened to her relationship with childhood love.
At first, there were deception and grey areas, but now he understands more of his role in her (Monica) life and the fact that he has fallen more in love with her. For some reason, he feels like she's damaged and he wants to fix her."
"It feels great to be back. There are some emotional bits in this coming season which were challenging to me as an actor, which I've embraced wholly," Fidel says.
For Joyce Maina, fans can expect a more mature Vivian that is "completely different from the Vivian we see in season 1 and 2, even though some things still remain the same."
