American singer-songwriter and talent show judge Meghan Trainor has opened up about her scary birth as she welcomed her son Riley to the world. The 27year old singer gave birth to her first child with husband Daryl Sabara via cesarean section in February, and to Meghan, she described the incident as terrifying.

Meghan revealed that her son was breech before the birth and immediately had "breathing issues".And she said it was "terrifying" when the doctors told her that her son was having issues with his breathing.

"It was one of those horror stories where he didn't cry. He didn't make noise when he came out. I was like, 'Why isn't he crying?"

Meghan further opened up and stated that the worst part was that she only saw him "for one second" before whisking him away for extra help. Meghan has then shared her sons early days with a post,

"We had a rocky start, but Riley is perfect, happy and healthy, so lucky to be your sweet mama boy".

"They told me, 'If you're happy, then your body will be happy, and then your baby will happy,'" she said.
