Late American rapper Pop Smoke wins top Billboard 200 album for his debut effort Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon.

The late American rapper Bashar Barakah Jackson, known professionally as Pop Smoke has bagged the award of  the top Billboard 200 album . The musician, 20, was shot and killed in Los Angeles last year.


The rapper was at a home in the Hollywood Hills at around 4:30 AM when 2 men wearing hoodies and masks broke into a house ... this according to law enforcement sources. We're told the 2 men fired multiple shots, striking and critically wounding Pop Smoke. The men were seen fleeing on foot.The musician was rushed by ambulance to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood where he was pronounced dead.His mother, Audrey Jackson, accepted the award on his behalf and called him a "warrior".


Further on this year's billboard award, K-pop group BTS won top-selling song for Dynamite, Bad Bunny was named top Latin artist and DaBaby took home the prize for top rap song for Rockstar, his collaboration with Roddy Rich.


Machine Gun Kelly was named top rock artist and showcased his love for actress girlfriend Megan Fox before accepting the honour.Drake was also joined by three-year-old son Adonis on stage after being honoured as artist of the decade.


"I'm really bad at taking compliments," Drake, told the audience.

"I'm really self-conscious about my music and even if I do a good job I always wonder how I could have done it better."
