Karun is a Kenyan R&B songwriter with an eclectic ear and a fresh sound.
Karun is not a newcomer to the Pan African Music Industry. Formally known as Miss Karun of the BET nominated Hip Hop group Camp Mulla, she has numerous Award nominations and performances under her belt. From the MOBO'S UK to the MTV AMA'S hosted in Jo'burg SA and more.
After Camp Mulla dissolved in 2013she proceeded to release her debut album 'Sun & Moon with a weekly vlog leading up to the project release dubbed the LadyBug Project'.
She then proceeded to attend the prestigious Berklee College of music. She majored in Electronic Music Production and Design. She joined a pop a Cappella group named Kepoambe, while also making time to perform at festivals like Madaraka festival in Seattle, and SXSW in Austin Texas and as part of the alternative electro-soul collective cosmic homies.
That said, she is set to release an EP early this year. Karun has already released the single 'Catch A Vibe' off the EP, and fans love it. The BET award nominee recently released hit R&B songs such as 'True To Me', 'GlowUp', 'Make Believe ft Blinky Billʼ, 'Hit Me Upʼ and 'Rosesʼ paved the sonic direction for her most recent release "Catch A Vibe".
The EP, she says, offers uplifting and positive vibrations to her fans which mirrors the frequency and energy that Karun has been vibrating on and is fleshed out in her upcoming EP.
She studied music at the prestigious Berklee College of Music.
