KENYAN ARTISTE HAVE SECURED A SLOT IN THE TOP 100 AFRICAN MUSICIAN LIST

The pan African entertainment Tv Channel, Whatsup Tv and pr and Rating agency Avance Media have announced the top 100 Africa musicians' inaugural list for 2021. The list features musicians from 26 African countries. Notable names include Angelique Kidjo, Burna Boy, Davido, Wizkid, Mohammed Mounir, Cassper Nyovest, Khaligraph Jones, Sarkodie, and other musicians who continue to blaze the trail for African arts and have set the pace for the next generation to follow.

In Kenya, Heart the band, Khaligraph Jones, the Kenyan boy band Sauti Sol and Nyashinski have made it to the list. A reflection of what has been mentioned above is the mega hits that they have dropped. With the likes of papa jones releasing hits such as Wavy, the boyband recently held a Midnight train's virtual live album performance.

The list features 18 Females, 73 males, and nine groups with 20-year-old Nigerian act Rema being the youngest and Egypt's Mohammed Mounir being the oldest at age 66.

Nigeria is leading with 26 representatives followed by Ghana with 10, Cote D'Ivoire with seven, and South Africa with six musicians.
