Jux fell in love with Kenya after he came to perform alongside his good friend, Otile Brown, not forgetting the talented Nikita Kering’ and Kikuyu Mugithi maestro, Samidoh, on a recent gig.
Jux gave out a sizzling performance on the show and even called out Otile Brown on the stage to perform their collaborative hit song ‘Regina’, making the revellers go wild with excitement.
The Tanzanian singer sat down for a tell-all interview with the award-winning radio and TV presenter Willy M Tuva on his show dubbed ‘Mseto Africa(formerly Mseto East Africa)’.
The talented singer confessed that he had previously turned down early bookings that wanted him to fly to Kenya and perform because by then, he believed that he didn’t have the support and fanbase that he needed to pull a crowd in the country.
Thanks to his two successful collaborations with Otile Brown, and Nyashinski, he can now pull a crowd in Kenya He also hinted at a project with Sauti Sol and has shown interest in working with Nadia Mukami. He also opened up through his manager about the amount that will have him perform in a gig today. Please note that he can’t take anything less than USD12,000 before he gets up on stage, performs, and entertains.
Jux’s publicly disclosing his booking fees makes him a handful of established musicians and entertainers who have declared their booking fees. Diamond Platnumz also disclosed his booking fees recently.
