Media personality Jeff Koinange is in mourning after losing his elder brother David Waiganjo Koinange in a grisly road accident.

In a heartbreaking Instagram post, Jeff described Waiganjo as a friend and indicated that he is still trying to come to terms with the fact that he will no longer be able to see his brother.

He referred to his late brother Mbiyu as a gentle soul who had a heart of gold. He also said that the Pain of his loss will not go away any time soon.

“Still trying to come to terms with the fact that you are no longer with us, my Big Brother and My Friend. Yours was a Gentle Soul with a Heart of Gold! You will be Sorely Missed and this Pain will NOT go away anytime soon! We Loved you BUT God Loved you More, Father Abraham! #RIPDavidWaiganjoMbiyu #TillWeMeetAgain”

It is said that his car rolled several times on the Mau Narok-Nakuru road as he drove to his farm in Muthera.According to Njoro sub-county police commander Mohammed Huka, the accident happened after one of the rear tyres on the late David’s car burst, pushing the vehicle to roll several times.

He further disclosed that Mr Waiganjo was all alone in his Range Rover which was severely damaged. The car had to be towed to the Narok police station after the accident while Waiganjo’s body was transported to the Egerton University mortuary.

Waiganjo Mbiyu was the son of the late prominent cabinet minister, Mbiyu Koinange and was known to many in the Mau-Narok area as a prominent farmer.

May His Soul Rest in Peace!
