Hollywood Based Kenyan Actress Christine Wawira Set To Open Birth Centers In Kenya

The Us based actress Christine Wawira Is planning to open various birth centers in her motherland Kenya to decrease the infant mortality rate in Kenya.

The actress got this idea initially during her visit to Kenya for her late mother's burial. Wawira stated that she has a passion for maternal health and initially back in 2019, she became a certified Hypnobabies (childbirth hypnosis), instructor.

Christine stated that her goal is to bring Hypnobabies to Kenya and build birth centers with water birth options. The water birth is a birth that the mother spends her final labour stages in a birthing pool. #3 Hypnobabies is a very successful six-week, 3-hours per week, complete childbirth education course that teaches expectant moms how to use medical-grade hypnosis techniques to eliminate discomfort during childbirth significantly.

Wawira, besides her humanitarian ventures, originally began her acting talent back in secondary school and has since featured in various stage plays Tv Shows, commercials and music videos which helped propel her career to where she is currently.

The actress, who was born in Kenya but grew up in London before moving to the US, has always been passionate about maternal health Wawira, been in movies such as Hacksaw, East African Girl, Flash, Blacklisted, Sign of the Dragon, and Night Call.
