World marathon record holder Eliud Kipchoge is married to one Grace Sugutt and blessed with three kids; Lynne, 13, Griffin, 9, and Gordon, 7. The couple has been married for almost 14 years.
Speaking in a previous interview on how they met, Grace had this to say;
“I was 19 when I fell in love with Eliud. We were schoolmates and neighbors. I studied with Eliud all his life. From primary to high school. My brother Amos was also his best friend. We both adore humility, and this drew us together. Tulikatiana kikale (we dated the Kalenjin way) and after a year, we started life together solemnized in a traditional ceremony.”
The mother of three has always showered her husband with praises;
"Eliud's discipline also extends to his spending. I'm his supporter. I take care of his business and the farm while he is away running or training."
Eliud, who was recently named Kenya tourism ambassador, has been training in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve and helping his children with schoolwork during this Covid-19 pandemic.
Just a while back Eliud Kipchoge's name was written in the books of history after he completed the marathon (#INEOS1:59Challenge) in less than two hours in Vienna Austria.
