Kevin Darnell Hart is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and producer. He was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Hart began his career by winning several amateur comedy competitions at clubs throughout New England, his first real break came in 2001 when Judd Apatow cast him for a recurring role on the TV series Undeclared.

The series lasted one season only, but Hart landed other roles in films such as Paper Soldiers (2002), Scary Movie 3 (2003), Soul Plane (2004), In the Mix (2005), and Little Fockers (2010).

Aside from acting, Kevin is also a seasoned host. He first hosted the 2011 BET Awards he later went on to host the MTV Video Music Awards in 2012. His longtime friend Judd Apatow, is the one who gave him his first break on mainstream media in the TV series Undeclared. Hart hoped that this would propel him further into his career, stating, "Hopefully after MTV, of course, we're talking Emmys, Oscars, whatever". Kevin Hart has hosted three episodes for Saturday Night Live.

In 2015, he hosted the Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber. In 2016, Hart co-hosted the 2016 MTV Movie Awards with Dwayne Johnson.

Kevin Hart is one of two siblings, his older brother is Robert Hart. Although Hart was speechless when he saw his "twin" from Zambia on TikTok, stating. "I thought someone stole my face or playing with the filters on TikTok or something, but that's really him, that sh***t is scary, this guy actually looks like me, like its not a joke, he looks like he could be my brother, he looks like we were birth from the same woman that's him and that's the second time I’ve seen him.”
