Despite not bagging the winning Award of the Best International Act at BET, singer Diamond Platnumz has showcased how proud he is of his African Heritage. The Tanzanian Bongo Flava artist turned up for this year's BET Red-carpet donned in a Maasai Attire that directed all the attention on him, and people could not stop asking for photos and selfies.

Despite the loss, the Waaah hitmaker kept his chin up and thanked his fans, who wished him well, stating that it was an honour to have been nominated.
