Great news for DJ Black Coffee’s fans - the star has finally released his long-awaited album ‘Subconsciously’.
The wide-ranging album comes three years after the international hit EP, Music Is King. The much anticipated Subconsciously album features Sun-El Musician, Una Rams, David Guetta, Pharrell Williams, and many more high profile artists. The album is sure to remind music fans why he is a global house music icon.
Black Coffee has remained a global force not only in dance music but in the music industry as a whole. His critically-acclaimed debut album, Pieces Of Me, further spread his influence, landing him collaborations with high-profile artists including Drake and Alicia Keys. Today, Black Coffee has left an even more impactful mark with the release of his sophomore LP, Subconsciously, out via Ultra Records.
The twelve-track album is a diverse mix of sounds from R&B superstar Usher, Cassie, DJ Mag’s number one DJ David Guetta, and British multi-instrumentalist Jinadu.
Sultry Puerto Rican singer Maxine Ashley and Sun-El Musician also join in with his vocals on the gospel-evoking single “You Need Me”. Black Coffee selected a couple of South Africa’s youngest talent with rapper Una Rams lending his lyrical skills to “Flava” alongside colorful singer Tellaman.
The highly acclaimed DJ has a lot of international experience and yet manages to make his sound distinctive and addictive. Subconsciously already has reportedly become a hit just hours after the album release.
