The president of comedy Eric Omondi has come out in the open saying that Daniel Ndambuki aka Churchill, has never paid him a penny. Speaking on Radio Jambo, Omondi stated that he gets his money from adverts and other deals.

"Churchill has never paid me any coin. For three seasons I did not want the money, but by the time I was finishing the first season, I was already making millions. I got adverts and earned from that."

Churchill on the other hand on various occasions has found himself on the receiving end hence making netizens jump to conclusions that this is the reason artistes end up in depression hence leading to death after enduring mistreatment from the comedy industry.

Regarding this, Omondi has termed it nonsense of the highest order stating that Churchill has never called anyone to join the show and that through Churchill show, he personally used the platform he was given with Churchill to create his name.

"Churchill has never called anyone to join the show. He always gives us a house to sell your craft," he said.

The president of comedy also added that he is the one to pay Churchill in this case since he has done a lot with the platform he was given.

"I could not be known if he did not give me the platform to sell my name. He sold my name and it is very unfair when I see comedians saying they are being used by Churchill. You are not being used, they are using Churchill."
