Media personality Caroline Mutoko is over the moon after being named one of the 20 most influential women in Kenya.

The celebrity shared the news with her fans through her social pages, thanking Network Kenya for recognising and celebrating women's impact in society.

She wrote, "Thank you all, very much. I shall address the nation soon. Let me prepare my speech. Woman Kenya Network honoured."

The mother of two was celebrated as the most trusted brand in East Africa. She is always counted and enlisted where leading and poignant women are highlighted.

Other women who made it to that list include comedian Mammito, TerryAnne Chebet, Dr Mercy Mwangangi, Janet Mbugua and Akothee.

Her fans quickly flocked the comment section with congratulatory messages such as:

Royal Ruth Koine: "Now this is the kind of list that influences. This issue of people influencing because the dramas they have in their life is misleading. Congrats.''

Cate Mimi: "Well done. To the network, we need Lynn Ngugi of Tuko News in that list as well or on a list by herself. She is more than phenomenal."

Ruth George:"Congratulations Caroline, you deserve it wakwitu but to be placed together with Mammito is a big no,"

Elly Afwamba Otieno: "Caroline Mutoko is really a role model to society, the rate at which you inspire young people is on another level. You never expose your thighs, you never expose your assets, you never expose your stretch marks, you never expose your waist going up to the head, you are always decent.''
