Kenya’s pop artist Nameless has got a major setback on Tuesday morning after losing his Instagram account to hackers.

Disclosing the news, the Te Amo hitmaker’s wife Wahu, using her Instagram account, informed their fans that Nameless’ account had been hacked.

The songstress explained to her followers how Nameless had been denied access to the popular platform rendering him helpless.

She also stated that they were doing all they can to get back the account and warned that people should disregard any posts made by the account.

She posted, ‘Nameless Instagram account has been hacked. We are working to resolve the issue, but for now, please disregard any posts coming from Nameless Kenya account.’

At the time of the cybercrime, the father of two had amassed a huge following of over 1.2 million followers, which is a big blow to his effort to grow his social media followers.

In the past few months, a few Kenyan celebrities fell victim to the hacking trends that have gained popularity in Kenya, with many being forced to start over or struggle for months to retrieve their accounts.

A quick look at Nameless Kenya’s account, all the singer’s published posts and pictures are still intact, a trick that many hackers have employed to scheme around and con fans who are not aware that Nameless has been deprived of access to the account.

Early last year, popular comedian Jalang’o alias Heavy J Baba revealed his Twitter account had been hacked, and he offered Ksh 50,000 to someone who would help retrieve the hacked account that had over 500k followers.
