Songbird Tanasha Donna has shared her New Year's resolutions, Tanasha got real about her struggles with social media saying she was seeking validation online;

"I used to do it for the likes, or the views, or the validation... Till I realized likes doesn't mean I'm actually liked, views DON'T pay & the only validation I need is God's. #onmyownlane 🌍🧚🏽‍♀️🙏🏽"

Donna went ahead and clarified that she's now focused on growing spiritually and musically,

"I'm on my lane right now, done keeping up with the hype. My influence shall speak for itself, and I will always be supportive of our artists making an effort to put our art out there. I'm more focused on growing both musically and spiritually and helping people through my art. I Won't stop at anything till I achieve that Inshallah. Have a blessed weekend, you all. Cheers to more growth, more blessings, more streams, more money and more profound connection with God."

She, however, owes all this to Diamond Platnumz which she hasn't forgotten as she posted on Instagram thanking him after her song 'Gere' made it as one of the Most Viewed Songs On YouTube 2020;

"Huge thanks! Gere by myself & Baba @naseeb.junior made it to Most viewed African songs on YouTube 2020. Grateful to @diamondplatnumz for believing in me & collaborating with me on such a big tune & to the supporters who've supported me & continue to believe in me so far. Cheers to a greater 2021 Inshallah. The dream continues.... 🧚🏽‍♀️❤️"
